Pertaining to the contemporary tropical concept, this project was designed in a way that the internal spaces are integrated to the natural environment. The house was lifted one meter above the ground to keep it cool and moisture-free, taking advantage of crossed ventilation and natural light as well as the sound and the freshness of the river running through the property, and the great variety of birds, and other wildlife, ranging from parakeets, toucans, clay-coloured thrushes to howler monkeys.
